The strongest astral army in Warhammer 40K

Chapter 102 A Clash of Power!

Chapter 102 A Clash of Power!

If I remember correctly, this is Russell's second time being possessed by the Blood God. The first time he was possessed was to kill ordinary rebels, and this time he is to kill "orcs".

The new leader gave a wink to an orc warrior, who immediately understood and walked toward Russell, carrying his battle axe.

"Scatter!" the orc warrior roared.

The orc boys scattered, and Russell, with his bloodshot eyes, stared intently at the powerful orc warrior.

Although Russell was already very powerful, there was still a considerable gap between him and this orc warrior. This gap was in all aspects, including physique, strength, combat experience, and so on. Despite this gap, Russell was still able to achieve victory.

"Human shrimp, you are powerful, but today you will die here!" the orc warrior said coldly.

Russell, unfazed, sneered and said: "Come on up and give it a try!"

"You're asking for death!" the orc warrior roared and charged forward. Despite its enormous size, it was also incredibly fast, crashing into the orc like a tank.

Faced with such a formidable opponent, Russell did not intend to fight head-on, but instead took a few steps back.

The orc warrior swung his massive battle axe diagonally down at Russell. Seeing the weapon coming at him, Russell felt that the orc warrior's attack was quite powerful. He probably couldn't withstand it with just one arm. Of course, he could choose not to block it, but he wanted to test the orc warrior's strength.

Having decided to resist, Russell quickly crossed his arms and raised his Power Axe and Blood Drinker to try and block the giant axe's slash.

The massive battle axe slammed down on the two weapons, the immense force forcing Russell to his knees. He had been careless this time; he hadn't expected the orc warrior to be so strong. Although he was a bit disheveled, he managed to block the enemy's attack.

The orc warrior was somewhat surprised that this human shrimp had actually blocked his attack, but his second attack came, kicking Russell in the chest.

The kick landed squarely on Russell's chest, sending him tumbling over a dozen times before he came to a stop. This demonstrated the immense power of the kick; Russell wasn't a Kayans orc warrior, so this kick wouldn't have been enough to injure him.

Russell stood up, wiping the blood from the corner of his mouth, and said: Is that all you've got? Orc warrior?

Hearing Russell's taunts, the orc warrior found them particularly grating and, enraged, charged forward once more.

Russell, not to be outdone, roared and charged forward.

This time, he nimbly turned to dodge the giant axe's strike, his left-hand power axe aimed at the orc warrior's right knee, while his right-hand Bloodthirster slashed at the orc warrior's wrist.

Both the Bloodthirster and the Power Axe are capable of cleaving through the orc warrior's thick plate armor.

The power axe not only cleaved through the orc warrior's knee armor but also shattered his kneecap. The Bloodthirster also severed the orc warrior's wrist, preventing him from wielding the axe with both hands. This almost rendered the powerful orc warrior unable to fight.

The orc warrior knelt on one knee, and the giant axe fell to the side.

Russell did not kill it, but laughed and said: Killing you is as easy as turning one's hand.

The orc warrior, sweating profusely from the pain, roared angrily: "Attack!"

Russell swung the Bloodthirster at the orc warrior, the immense force shattering its helmet and revealing its enormous, hideous face.

Russell ignored the orc warrior and glanced at the new leader, saying: "Send out a stronger opponent, or you can go and fight yourself!"

The new leader frowned slightly as he looked at a large orc. Of course, he couldn't personally intervene; if he couldn't defeat this human, his prestige would be greatly diminished. This time, he sent out his most powerful orc.

The burly orc understood his leader's meaning and stepped forward. However, he made a strange move, dropping his weapon and saying to Russell: "You are very strong. I respect strong opponents. How about we have a contest of strength? If you can defeat me, you can leave here. If you fail, you will have to become our warrior for three months. How about that?"

This big orc was clever. It realized that the human in front of it had a very powerful weapon, and its plate armor might not be able to withstand the slashes. If it chose to fight with its strength, it might have a better chance of winning.

Russell smiled. He hadn't expected this giant orc to make such a demand. Russell's reliance was the Blood Drinker. With the Blood Drinker in hand, he believed he could kill the powerful enemy before him. But now that the enemy had made such a demand, he was afraid he was no match for this giant in a contest of strength. However, he wasn't confident he could kill all the orcs if he didn't do as it said. He could only say: "Alright, let's have a contest of strength!"

This big orc was quite fair. He removed all his plate armor and, like Russell, was half-naked. He said, "Let's begin!"

A strange scene unfolded: a six-meter-tall orc and a human over two meters tall engaged in a true battle of wits.

Russell knew very well that victory could not be achieved by brute force alone, but only by agility and skillful combat.

The big orc launched the first attack, pouncing on Russell like an eagle catching a chick.

Faced with such a powerful opponent, Russell quickly activated "Emperor's Blessing," which increased all of his attributes by 50% after the skill was activated.

The giant orc pounced down, but Russell had already vanished in front of it and reappeared behind it the next moment.

There's no better way to defeat a giant than to attack its knees and make it fall down first.

After getting behind the big orc, Russell raised his right foot and kicked at the back of his knee.

The orc lost its balance from the kick and fell to one knee. Russell seized the opportunity to jump onto its back, intending to execute a guillotine. Unfortunately, the orc's neck was too thick, and Russell's arms couldn't wrap around it. He had no choice but to give up and then swung his fist, delivering a heavy punch to the orc's temple.

His full-force punch might break a tree, but the orc's head was harder than a tree. Russell's punch only made the huge head sway slightly.

As Russell raised his fist to strike again, the orc giant's right hand reached out and grabbed Russell's shoulder in time.

The enormous hand gripped Russell's entire shoulder. Perhaps the orc giant could have easily given Russell's shoulder bone a light squeeze, and Russell's shoulder bone would have creaked in protest. Fortunately, the orc giant stopped gripping and instead threw Russell outwards with force.

With a "whoosh," Russell was flung out like a stone, then crashed heavily into the mud, rolling continuously and stirring up a large cloud of dust.
