Chapter 135 A Treasure Hunt in the Immortal Realm
Chapter 135: An Absurd Treasure Hunt in the Immortal Realm
Liu Yu and his companions were living a very colorful life in the Immortal Realm. One day, they heard that there was a mysterious place in the Immortal Realm that held countless precious treasures, so they decided to embark on a treasure hunt full of surprises and laughter.
The group arrived at the legendary treasure land with great enthusiasm. At the entrance stood a huge stone tablet inscribed with strange symbols and warnings. Liu Yu curiously approached to take a look, but couldn't recognize a single character.
They cautiously entered this mysterious area, where a light mist hung in the air, giving it a somewhat eerie feel. Liu Yu walked ahead when suddenly his foot slipped, and he fell into a large pit. He cried out from the pit, "Help!" Xu Xian and Xiao Qing quickly pulled him out, finding Liu Yu covered in mud and in a sorry state.
Continuing on, they came across a huge tree laden with glistening fruit. Liu Yu excitedly ran over, wanting to pick a few. But as soon as she reached out, the fruit suddenly transformed into a flock of small birds, chirping and flying away, leaving a pile of bird droppings on Liu Yu's head. Liu Yu jumped up and down in anger: "You wretched little birds!"
Further on, they discovered a cave with a stone tablet at the entrance that read, "The treasure is here; the destined one will find it." Liu Yu eagerly rushed inside, only to be thrown back out by a powerful force, landing hard on his backside. Rubbing his backside, he exclaimed, "What the hell is this place?!"
Bai Suzhen smiled and said, "Don't rush, let's go in carefully."
The group entered the cave, which was pitch black inside. Liu Yu accidentally kicked something, picked it up, and saw it was a worn-out gourd. Excitedly, he exclaimed, "Could this be the treasure?" He then opened the gourd's lid, and a plume of black smoke billowed out, transforming into an ugly monster. The monster bared its fangs and roared, "Who woke this great king?!" Liu Yu, terrified, quickly threw the gourd away.
Xu Xian and Xiao Qing quickly engaged the monster in battle, and after a lot of fighting, they finally subdued it.
They continued their search inside the cave. Liu Yu saw a stone with what appeared to be writing on it. Upon closer inspection, he realized it was a poem: "Three circles to the left, three circles to the right, the treasure is right before your eyes." Liu Yu followed the poem's instructions and circled several times, but nothing happened. He said in bewilderment, "What kind of deceptive poem is this!"
Just then, Xiaoqing discovered a mechanism. She gently pressed it, and suddenly a large hole opened up in the ground. Liu Yu, not paying attention, fell in again. This time, the hole was full of water, and Liu Yu splashed around, shouting, "I can't swim!"
Xu Xian and Bai Suzhen quickly pulled him up.
They continued on and came to a room filled with all sorts of boxes. Liu Yu excitedly opened one of the boxes, and a toad jumped out, startling him so much that he screamed.
Upon opening another box, Liu Yu found it filled with biting insects and quickly closed the box.
After finally finding a box that looked like it contained treasure, they opened it only to find a pile of broken stones. Liu Yu said disappointedly, "There's no treasure in here at all!"
Just as they were about to give up, Bai Suzhen discovered a mirror that shimmered with a strange light. She gently touched the mirror, and a line of words appeared in the mirror: "Only those with a sincere heart can obtain treasure."
Liu Yu suddenly realized: "So it's about us searching sincerely, not just for the treasure."
Just then, the mirror emitted a bright light, and when the light disappeared, a pile of real treasures appeared on the ground.
Liu Yu and the others happily carried their treasures out of the cave.
However, on his way back, Liu Yu accidentally dropped his treasures all over the ground. He hurriedly tried to pick them up, but the more he picked them up, the more messy it became, with the treasures rolling everywhere.
Xu Xian laughed and said, "You're so clumsy."
Xiaoqing teased from the side, "Brother-in-law, you're such a character!"
After finally managing to collect all the treasures, they encountered a deity. The deity's eyes lit up when he saw their treasures, and he wanted to snatch them away.
Liu Yu hugged the baby tightly and said, "This is something we found with great difficulty, we won't give it to you!"
The gods used their magic to try and forcibly take it. Bai Suzhen and Xiaoqing stepped forward and engaged in a fierce battle with the gods.
In the end, they successfully defeated the deity and returned home with the treasure.
That night, Liu Yu lay in bed, recalling the absurd experiences of the day, and couldn't help but laugh.
The next day, they planned to take their baby to the market to exchange it for some useful things.
Upon arriving at the market, Liu Yu saw a vendor selling candied hawthorns and was so tempted that she wanted to trade her treasure for them. Xu Xian quickly stopped her, saying, "Liu Yu, don't be foolish!"
Liu Yu reluctantly put down her treasure.
They continued browsing and came across a stall selling calligraphy and paintings. Liu Yu picked up a piece and said, "This isn't even as good as mine." The stall owner angrily replied, "What do you know about art!"
Just then, a child ran over and bumped into Liu Yu, causing the baby to fall to the ground again.
Liu Yu said helplessly, "This day has been quite an ordeal!"
In the end, they traded their treasures for some useful items and left the market satisfied.
What interesting stories will Liu Yu and his companions have in the Immortal Realm in the days to come?
