Chapter 132 Learning to Express
Chapter 132 Learning to Express
Jiang Man turned his head to look at him and said vaguely, "But... you are so rich, you will definitely feel that it is unnecessary."
"Who said that?" Su Heng immediately retorted righteously, "I have always been very frugal."
He tells lies without blushing.
Jiang Man blinked, with an expression that said, "I don't believe it."
"Disagree?" Su Heng's voice became even colder.
Jiang Man was stunned. This person's expression changed faster than turning the pages of a book. She quickly adjusted her expression and smiled: "How could it be!"
"Well, that's better." Su Heng walked past her.
Jiang Man looked at his back and sighed helplessly.
Su Heng sat on the sofa in the living room, while Jiang Man was busy cooking in the kitchen.
Her hair fell softly on her shoulders.
"Do you like spicy food?" Jiang Man asked in the kitchen.
Su Heng replied calmly, "Not bad."
This stereotyped answer made Jiang Man a little dissatisfied. "Can you put it another way?"
"If I like it, I like it. If I don't like it, I don't like it." Jiang Man said while cutting vegetables.
Su Heng lowered his head and thought about it. He really didn't have any special preferences.
"I don't have anything I particularly like." He said lightly.
Jiang Man paused while cutting vegetables. His words made her feel uncomfortable for some reason. "Then you must express your thoughts clearly in the future," she whispered.
Hearing this, he, who was always calm and composed, was suddenly stunned. Looking at Jiang Man's figure, his eyes gradually softened.
"Mom, I'm back." Xuanxuan shouted loudly at the door, but found that the door of the house was not closed.
He poked his head out and saw Su Heng sitting in the living room. He shouted in surprise, "Uncle Su!"
Su Heng glanced at Xuanxuan at the door, the corners of his mouth raised unconsciously, and he waved to him, "Come here."
Xuanxuan was about to rush over, but then he looked at his mother, then at Su Heng. His eyes rolled, and he immediately said, "Oh, I forgot my schoolbag at Grandma Yang's house! Oh, by the way, I won't be back for dinner!"
The little guy turned around and ran out.
Su Heng saw it and couldn't help laughing.
This kid is quite smart.
Jiang Man brought out a dish and looked at the door in confusion, "I clearly heard Xuanxuan's voice just now."
Su Heng replied calmly, "He went to Grandma Yang's house and won't be back for dinner."
Jiang Man responded and went back to his work.
The aroma of chili peppers wafted from the kitchen. Jiang Man brought out a small dish of chili sauce and placed it in front of Su Heng. Su Heng sniffed it and said, "It smells so good."
"Try it?" Her eyes flashed with anticipation.
Su Heng picked up the chopsticks she handed him, picked up a piece of food, dipped it in chili sauce, chewed it slowly, and the aroma of the chili spread in his mouth.
"Not bad." He put down his chopsticks and gave a fair evaluation.
Jiang Man raised his eyebrows, with a hint of pride, "Of course."
"Sister, I'm back." Jiang Lu pushed open the door and called out lazily.
As soon as I entered the door, I saw Su Heng sitting in the living room.
She was stunned for a moment, then showed a surprised expression and hurried over, "Boss Su, I didn't expect you to be here."
Su Heng avoided her gaze and said "hmm" lightly.
Jiang Lu hurried to the water dispenser, poured a glass of water, and brought it to Su Heng, "Mr. Su, have some water."
Su Heng glanced at her and Jiang Lu couldn't help but shudder.
Jiang Lu bit her lips tightly, feeling unwilling and confused. In what way was she inferior to her sister?
"Mr. Su." She called out timidly.
Su Heng didn't even raise his eyelids, his fingers sliding across the phone screen as he continued to review the documents.
Jiang Lu lowered her eyes, gritted her teeth, and mustered up the courage to walk in front of him. "Mr. Su," she called again.
"You're noisy, get out of my sight." Su Heng frowned, and the shadow in front of him made him feel unhappy.
His voice frightened Jiang Lu, and she looked at Jiang Man aggrievedly for help.
Jiang Man was busy cooking and didn't notice anything unusual here.
"Mr. Su, why did you fire me?" Seeing that there was no hope of asking for help, Jiang Lu's voice was choked with sobs.
"Don't you know the reason?" Su Heng said lightly, and finally looked at Jiang Lu straight in the eye.
Jiang Lu felt extremely aggrieved, "I really don't know! Did I do something wrong?" Her eyes were red and she looked pitiful.
Su Heng sneered, turned his gaze to Jiang Man, and said in a low voice: "Do you need me to remind you of what you did?" His voice was as cold as the wind, making Jiang Lu tremble all over.
Perhaps she had something to hide, she immediately lowered her head, knowing that Su Heng had obviously discovered the matter about the post.
"You should know why I let you go this time! If there's a next time, it won't just be as simple as dismissal!" Su Heng was too lazy to talk nonsense with her and leaned lazily on the sofa.
Jiang Lu clenched her fists, turned around, her eyes full of complexity and resentment, and stared fiercely at Jiang Man in the kitchen.
Soon, Jiang Man brought the remaining dishes to the living room.
Jiang Lu immediately stepped forward to help.
Jiang Man scooped a bowl of soup for Su Heng, "Vegetable and tofu soup, light taste, you should like it." She handed the bowl to him.
Jiang Lu lowered her eyes, poked the white rice in the bowl with her chopsticks, and glanced at Jiang Man with disdain on her face.
Su Heng took the bowl and a smile appeared on the corner of his mouth. "How do you know I like light food?" he asked with interest.
Jiang Manshou paused, pretended not to hear, sat down and picked up the dishes.
"Aren't you going to tell me?" Su Heng asked again.
Knowing that he couldn't play dumb anymore, Jiang Man glanced at him, looked away, and concentrated on eating his food.
"I heard it from Assistant Lin." She spoke unclearly, her voice as small as a mosquito.
"You can remember what he said?" Su Heng took a sip of soup and looked at her with a half-smile. "I remember your memory is not that good."
Jiang Man ignored him and pretended to eat with relish.
Listening to the conversation between the two, Jiang Lu felt like she was chewing wax. She sneered, "Boss Su, you don't know that my sister has always had a very good memory."
"Oh?" Su Heng glanced at her indifferently.
"I still remember when I was in school, my sister would celebrate Brother Ziyin's birthday on time every year. Once, she even stayed up late to fold a thousand little stars for Brother Ziyin." She said slowly, blinking innocently at Jiang Man with envy on her face.
Jiang Man's body stiffened. It would be embarrassing for anyone to bring up the past at this time.
"Oh?" Su Heng looked at Jiang Man with deep eyes, "I didn't expect that you still have such a girlish heart."
Jiang Man coughed lightly, as if his secrets had been exposed, and smiled faintly, "It's all in the past."
She didn't want to mention it again.
Su Heng glanced at her and said nothing more.
