Chapter 204 Stomach Pain

Chapter 204 Stomach Pain

Su Heng gave him a thumbs up and he ran away with a smile. Getting praise from Uncle Su was more exciting than the awards he received at school.

Seeing Xuanxuan leave, Jiang Man collapsed on the sofa, suddenly remembered something, and slapped his thigh, "I'm so confused, I haven't bought the vegetables yet."

Looking at her like this, Su Heng couldn't help but laugh.

"Shall I take you out to eat?"

"It's so late." Jiang Man blinked, obviously not wanting to move.

Su Heng frowned and groaned.

"What's wrong?" Seeing that he was not feeling well, Jiang Man quickly stood up and asked.

Su Heng held his stomach and sat on the sofa, looking serious. "My stomach hurts."

Jiang Man made a bitter face and walked into the kitchen helplessly.

There were not many ingredients in the kitchen, only noodles and eggs, so she simply cooked two bowls of egg noodles quickly and easily.

The smell of the fragrant noodles made Su Heng's appetite increase. He took a bite and smiled at Jiang Man who was wolfing down the noodles. "I didn't expect you to be such a hot-tempered girl?"

Jiang Man was choked and patted her chest hard, "What?" She glared at Su Heng in dissatisfaction.

"You look so funny today." Su Heng took a sip of soup and laughed again.

Jiang Man pouted and said, "So, don't mess with me. I'll beat myself up if I get mad."

"Oh?" Su Heng put down his chopsticks and looked at Jiang Man with interest.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" Jiang Man shrugged uncomfortably.

"I'd rather watch you beat yourself up."

"Boring." Jiang Man rolled her eyes at him. After eating and drinking, she slumped in the chair and pursed her lips. "Wash the dishes."

Su Heng raised his eyebrows, "What did you say?"

Jiang Man cleared his throat and said righteously, "I'll cook and you wash the dishes."

"Ok?"

"The wind was so strong that I couldn't hear clearly."

Jiang Man snorted. There was no wind at all. She rolled her eyes and said casually, "This is the rule in my house."

"Oh? Why should I comply?"

"Because..." Jiang Man paused and glanced at the escape route, "Because you are a live-in son-in-law."

After saying that, she prepared to escape at lightning speed.

As a result, before he took half a step, Su Heng grabbed his collar.

"Jiang Man, what did you say?"

Jiang Man made a bitter face and said, "I have intermittent amnesia."

"Ok?"

"I don't remember what I just said."

"Ok?"

"My name is Su Man."

"Be good." Su Heng patted her head.

I got up and cleaned up the dishes.

Jiang Man blinked, somewhat incredulous.

"What are you looking at? Are you fascinated by me?" he asked jokingly.

Jiang Man chuckled and nodded, "A little?"

"Then you have to work harder tonight?"

Jiang Man turned his head away and ignored him.

"That's right." She suddenly said.

"You said you wanted to preserve my kindness, so why did you tell Xuanxuan all this?"

"He's different. He's a man and he wants to protect you."

Jiang Man nodded, with a hint of confusion in his eyes.

"Go to bed early." Su Heng washed the foam off his hands and walked slowly towards her.

Jiang Man yawned again, his eyes drooping slightly, and he felt sleepy. "Yeah, okay."

The two walked into the bedroom, Jiang Man went into the bathroom to take a shower, while Su Heng sat on the edge of the bed, concentrating on reading the documents in his hand.

His phone vibrated and he glanced at the screen to see it was a call from Chloe.

He raised his eyebrows slightly and answered the phone, "Hello..."

"Ah..." She paused, then spoke politely and distantly, "Boss Su."

"What do you want from her?" Su Heng's tone was calm.

"I want to ask her out." Chloe said bluntly, "Please ask her to answer the phone."

"She's taking a shower." Su Heng responded briefly.

"Are you already living together?" Chloe's voice was full of surprise.

"What does this have to do with you?" Su Heng asked back.

"Heng, do you have to treat me so coldly?" Chloe's tone was filled with resentment.

"That depends on who the other person is." Su Heng closed the file. "Chloe, I can forgive those little actions you took behind my back because of our past friendship, but you'd better be content."

"What did I do?" Chloe defended herself calmly.

"You know it very well." Su Heng said this coldly and hung up the phone.

Chloe stared at the hung up phone, her eyes red and her breathing rapid. She actually lost to such an ordinary woman.

A sneer appeared on her lips, and she suddenly threw her phone to the ground.

"Where is the information I want?" she turned to the shifty-eyed man beside her and asked.

The man chuckled and handed her the information.

Chloe opened the document bag, glanced through it quickly, and took out the money from her bag and handed it to the man with satisfaction.

Deep-sea phobia? Jiang Man, don't blame me for being ruthless.

"Who's calling?" Jiang Man sat in front of the dressing table after taking a shower, wiping her wet long hair.

"Chloe." Su Heng answered briefly.

"Is there something she wants to talk about?" Jiang Man asked curiously while blowing her hair.

"It doesn't matter." Su Heng replied indifferently.

"Really?" Jiang Man looked at Su Heng suspiciously.

"Really." Su Heng still had no expression on his face.

Jiang Man nodded blankly and thought to himself: I don’t believe you.

She picked up her phone, went into the bathroom, and dialed Chloe's number.

The call was quickly connected, and faint sobbing sounds were heard from the other end.

Jiang Man looked at the phone in surprise, "Chloe, what's wrong with you?"

"Jiang Man, I really want to be friends with you." Chloe choked and said, as if she had suffered great injustice, "but Ah Heng." Before she finished speaking, she sobbed again.

Jiang Man rubbed his temples. It was hard to imagine that someone like Chloe could cry so sadly.

"Don't cry. He has no right to interfere with who I make friends with." Jiang Man comforted him embarrassedly.

"Well, Manman, you're so nice." Chloe sniffed, "By the way, I want to invite you guys to go out to sea together."

"Go to sea?" Jiang Man was stunned, pinched his eyebrows, and thought about how to refuse.

"Manman, you won't reject me, will you?" Chloe's voice was a little nervous. "It turns out you never considered me a friend." After saying that, she hung up the phone with a snap.

Jiang Man called out, but the line was busy. She sighed. It wasn't that she didn't want to go, but she had a natural fear of water.

"You're not allowed to go." A cold voice came from outside the door.

Jiang Man opened the door and saw Su Heng leaning against the door frame, his eyes deep and determined.

"Why are you here?" Jiang Man asked awkwardly.

Su Heng glanced at her and repeated what he had just said, "You are not allowed to go."

Jiang Man scratched his head and said, "It's not good not to go."

"What's wrong with that?" Su Heng asked back.

"If you're embarrassed, I'll help you refuse." After saying that, he reached out to grab the phone from her hand.

Jiang Man was shocked and quickly stepped forward to stop him.
