Chapter 219 Outsiders
Chapter 219 Outsiders
"Then why do you always speak for outsiders?" Jiang Man asked Xuanxuan.
"Outsider?" Su Heng repeated suddenly.
Jiang Man coughed dryly and pretended not to hear.
"Outsider!" Xuanxuan repeated loudly, "Uncle Su is not an outsider!" He retorted righteously.
Jiang Man glared at him and poked his belly.
"If you defend your Uncle Su so much, do you still need your mother?"
"Haha, Mom, you're not doing this right." Xuanxuan laughed heartily at being tickled. "This is called lynching."
"It doesn't seem right." Xuanxuan smiled and shook his head, "What was that word?"
"Extort a confession through torture." Su Heng reminded from the side.
"Yes, yes, that's it." Xuanxuan smiled and blew Su Heng a kiss. "Mom, look how knowledgeable Uncle Su is. You've found a treasure!"
"Mom not only has me, her little baby, but also Uncle Su, her big baby."
Su Heng nodded aside, "That's absolutely right."
Jiang Man turned his head, feeling unhappy. He felt like he was raising a son for someone else.
"Where are we going?" Jiang Man turned his head and asked in confusion.
Su Heng looked up and said, "Whatever you want."
"Then let's go back to the company? Maybe we can deduct less money."
Su Heng glanced at her sideways, and she touched her nose and said, "You are useless."
“Who has a problem with money?”
"I."
"That's because you have a lot of money." Jiang Man stuck out his tongue, looking unhappy.
"Oh, right." Su Heng paused. "When I went to your house yesterday, I saw a violin. So you can play it?"
Jiang Man nodded, feeling that there was no need to hide it from them.
"Yes."
"How about playing a song for me?"
"So are we going home now?"
"No." Su Heng shook his head and got in the car. "I'll take you somewhere."
"Where are we going?" Jiang Man fastened his seat belt, and Xuanxuan sat in the back seat, playing by himself obediently.
Su Heng didn't answer her, but just drove quietly.
After a while, they arrived at the city center.
Xuanxuan had fallen asleep in the back seat. Looking at his peaceful appearance, Jiang Man couldn't bear to wake him up.
After Su Heng got off the car, Jiang Man followed closely behind. This is the most lively area in the city.
They were strolling leisurely when suddenly, the sound of a violin drifted into their ears from afar. Jiang Man couldn't help but slow down his pace. "I seem to hear the melody of a violin."
"I heard it too." Su Heng nodded slightly.
In the bustling crowd, Jiang Man relied on his intuition to find the source of the piano sound.
The person playing the violin was a foreign artist. He was completely immersed in the world of music and was completely unaware of the gazes of people around him.
Jiang Man walked closer to him, his eyes gleaming with obsession.
"How do you feel?" Su Heng came to her side and asked in a low voice.
Jiang Man's eyes lit up and he nodded repeatedly, "Very good."
"Want to try it?"
"Me?" Jiang Man's eyes widened. "There are so many people here."
"Just think of it as for me." After saying that, Su Heng walked straight forward and started talking to the artist. Upon hearing that, the other party stopped the bow in his hand, with surprise in his eyes. Finally, his gaze fell on Jiang Man, and he smiled and nodded, then handed the violin to Jiang Man.
Jiang Man took the violin, feeling a little nervous.
Su Heng stared at her, "I want to listen." He said three words simply and clearly.
Jiang Man's heart trembled, and then he smiled. He put the violin on his shoulder and closed his eyes gently, as if he had forgotten that he was in the bustling city.
A melodious piano music flowed from her fingertips, and the people around her gradually stopped.
Although people who understand music can tell that her playing skills are not very sophisticated, for some reason, the sound of the piano has the magic to make people stop and listen.
When the song ended, Jiang Man's cheeks flushed. She had never played the violin in front of so many people.
A strange light flashed in Su Heng's eyes. He liked the way she looked just now, he liked it to death.
Jiang Man returned the violin to the artist and thanked him quietly.
Then she returned to Su Heng.
Su Heng lowered his head and asked, "Do you know what I just said to him?"
"What did you say?"
"I said you proposed to me and I wanted to play a song to celebrate, but I was too embarrassed to ask."
Jiang Man's cheeks turned red and she glared at him fiercely, "Su Heng!" She called his name loudly.
Su Heng smiled and said, "I agree to your proposal."
"I don't have any."
"You don't want to marry me?"
"No..." She spoke hastily and fell into his trap.
She glared at him again, "No."
"why?"
"No reason."
"So willful?" he said with a teasing smile.
"Yeah!" Jiang Man nodded.
"It's okay. How about I make a sacrifice and marry into your family?"
"You are throwing yourself at me." Jiang Man suddenly laughed.
"You're not happy?"
"People say that those who pay for something are not good people."
“I’m a limited edition.”
"Then it's free, isn't it?"
Su Heng paused. When did this girl become so eloquent?
He looked at her and said seriously, "Jiang Man."
"I've noticed that you've become more and more eloquent lately."
Jiang Man touched his nose and said, "Thank you for the compliment. It's all thanks to the teacher's good teaching."
"So where's your thank-you gift?"
"what do you want?"
"Revelry every night." After he said that, he looked at Jiang Man jokingly.
Sure enough, Jiang Man glared at him helplessly and gently twisted his waist, "This is on the street."
"Isn't this more interesting?"
"No way!" Jiang Man whispered shyly, "I would be embarrassed."
Looking at her shy look, Su Heng chuckled and stopped teasing her.
Another burst of music started, and they turned around and saw that a little girl had appeared next to the artist.
The little girl sat on the ground, looking a little timid.
Next to her was a little boy with a delicate figure.
"Yingying!" Jiang Man shouted in surprise, recognizing the little girl.
Yingying was stunned and looked in the direction of Jiang Man. Her misty eyes made people feel pity.
Yingying walked to Jiang Man with the help of the little boy, "Is that Aunt Manman?" she asked uncertainly.
"It's me." Jiang Man nodded. "Why are you here?"
"My sister went to work, so I asked my second brother to bring me here."
The little boy nodded politely to Jiang Man and Su Heng, "Hello."
Jiang Man felt warm in his heart, and a gentle smile appeared on the corner of his mouth, "Hello, little one."
Su Heng's gaze lingered on the little girl for a moment. "Do you know these two children?"
Jiang Man nodded slightly and gently touched the top of the little girl's head. "I met her by chance when I was out yesterday."
"Yingying, why are you here?"
"I like listening to the sound of the violin." Yingying did not hide it at all. She knew Jiang Man was a good person.
