A heavy rainstorm that summer caused the water in the entire Nanjian dormitory to remain for a whole day. After Darong and Zhong Yunxing took turns standing at the door and scooping out the water for a long time, the water in the house finally cleared up.

Zhong Yunsheng just sat there with his head down and kept silent.
"Don't listen to her. Why don't we just not eat her food? I stewed a big pot of ribs. Let's eat ribs."
Darong didn't know what to say. Wu Meifeng did look down on Zhong Yunsheng and his wife, but they were brothers after all, so her words and actions were indeed a bit excessive.
But they are sisters-in-law too, so what more can Darong say?
Zhong Yunsheng and Wenying did not go to eat that day, so Darong could only serve herself a small bowl of pork ribs and asked Zhong Yunxing to bring it to them. Mother and Father Zhong did not eat a single bite of the six crabs.
Only the naive little Ruyi and Jixiang were happily eating the crab roe.
"Brother, I was transferred to another job. Her uncle helped me get the job. I went to the Highway Bureau. I originally studied highway and bridge engineering, so it's a good match for my major."
After dinner, Zhong Yunhong and Zhong Yunxing sat under a big tree in the yard, lighting cigarettes and chatting.
