Chapter 2271. The Enchanting System 19
Chapter 2271. The Enchanting System 19
After Lu Xuan finished speaking, he glanced at Han Zifeng, who said disdainfully, "It's yours, so just take it."
Lu Xuan said gratefully, "Thank you, my master."
Zi Feng rolled her eyes and said, "Stop it, what master? I just temporarily grabbed you guys to work for me. Okay, hurry up and pack up, don't cause too much trouble, otherwise, it'll be easy to pack up but hard to take away."
Lu Xuan nodded, indicating that he understood. Then, without hesitation, he forced out a drop of his own essence blood and began refining the Eastern Emperor Bell. Zi Feng thought for a moment and gave Lu Xuan some advice: "Put some of the merits you've received into your bell and see if it can help restore some of its strength."
Lu Xuan nodded and did exactly as Zi Feng instructed. He was quite satisfied with the result; the refining was completed very quickly. Zi Feng asked curiously, "Is it usable now?"
Lu Xuan replied, "Right now it only has defensive capabilities; to fully restore it, it still needs two more sections."
Zi Feng nodded, sensing the aura of the Eastern Emperor Bell so she could retrieve it if she encountered it again. After they left, the formation here automatically broke, and when the area reappeared, they saw a desolate planet similar to the moon.
Zi Feng also realized that, given the current situation, it wasn't advisable for Lu Xuan to remain in this world. She decided to try and locate the boy who had come to see Lu Xuan earlier. To Zi Feng's satisfaction, she instantly appeared amidst a group of suns. Zi Feng complained, "Wow, are you guys in such hot suns?"
Zi Feng tossed Lu Xuan down, then grabbed him on the head. Lu Xuan could clearly feel their contract disappear. Curious, Lu Xuan asked, "How did you do that?"
Zi Feng complained: "A contract is also part of the curse? That's my area of expertise. Alright, this crappy place of yours is too hot. Also, your tendency to lose things is a problem. If you can't handle it, just give your treasure to someone else. It's a bit embarrassing if it really gets lost."
Lu Xuan nodded and took out the Eastern Emperor Bell, asking, "Who wants it?"
Zi Feng was speechless: "No, you don't feel any regret at all?"
Lu Xuan: "I'm not cut out for this either. Besides, I can't afford to maintain this divine artifact. Why don't the whole clan raise it together?" Zi Feng nodded, agreeing. Lu Xuan immediately asked, "Don't you want me to go back with you?"
Zi Feng complained, "Why are you going back? If I find the parts, I'll bring them to you. But there's probably a lot going on over there. You're not even under the name of that original world. What are you doing wandering around? You stole another artifact. If you don't run away, are you going to get chopped up? Right now, I'm the only one here. If I don't kill you, I'll be letting you down for stealing that clock."
Lu Xuan asked speechlessly, "Aren't you afraid of getting into trouble?"
Zi Feng scoffed, "Can I be like you? I only have one soul. If you kill me, they won't be able to bear the consequences. Alright, stop worrying about it and let's go."
He teleported back to his spaceship once more. Seeing that everything was alright, he started throwing his shoes again to re-identify a star field. The planets he discovered here were mostly mineral-rich, and there were quite a few of them.
Zi Feng felt that something was increasingly wrong as they walked. When they came across a group of creatures that looked like little softies, Zi Feng used his personal terminal to ask, "Found several hairy little softies, what are they?"
The AI happily added, "Honey, those are cosmic behemoths. Be careful they don't eat you."
Zi Feng nodded. Since it belonged to their menu, they were clearly hostile, so she decided to just eliminate them. She paused for a moment, then took out her knife and began to slice through these so-called celestial beasts, choosing to dissect them based on her intuition.
The stomachs of the star beasts were mostly filled with ores. Zi Feng dug through several before finally finding something with an Eastern aura. After cleaning it, she examined it again and realized it was indeed the part from Lu Xuan's clock. She put it away before continuing her hunt. To her surprise, another part of the clock was also found inside the stomachs of these star beasts.
Zi Feng was speechless. Did these guys really eat anything? Even things they couldn't digest? With a sigh, after confirming that all the giant star beasts had been dealt with, Zi Feng ordered the remaining soldiers to handle the rest. She also teleported back the fragments of the bell she found to Lu Xuan. She left the rest to his own devices.
Lu Xuan and the entire Golden Crow Clan were quite moved. Since Zi Feng was Nuwa, they could simply repay her by giving her all their gratitude, since she was the Demon Emperor.
With the matter settled here, Zifeng moved to another location. This time, he went to a place he was quite familiar with, the territory of Moka's orcs. Zifeng quickly determined where he needed to go. The soldiers of the two alliances, without saying a word, immediately started fighting. Zifeng was the main force searching for the living insects.
After the entire insect hive was cleaned up, Zi Feng discovered that the Orc Starfield was more troublesome than the Alliance side because small groups of insectoids were spreading rapidly throughout the starfield. He didn't find any hybrids of Orcs and Insectoids, but those Insectoids were really annoying.
Fortunately, Zi Feng is now being treated like a beast god in the Orcish Starfield. She only needs to use her divine sense to locate the insects, and the orcs can wipe them out in no time. What pleases Zi Feng even more is that the orcs here are far more resilient than those in the Alliance. Few of the insect-eating orcs are allergic, and even those who are can easily be used after a couple of trips to the medical ward. As a result, these insect-human corpses were directly used by a group of orcs. It even seems like there wasn't enough to go around!
Seeing that things were almost settled here, Zi Feng threw down her shoe again and headed for the next location. This time, they arrived at a place filled with skeletons. However, the queen of this insect hive seemed to be a stubborn one, actually blocking the skeletons' doorway and attacking them relentlessly. It was as if, although they had chosen the wrong place, they had to accept their fate.
A group of soldiers were now very curious about what these insect-like creatures ate. To solve this intellectual puzzle, they actually staked out the area to see what these insect-people ate! The answer was quite touching: they ordered takeout.
Zifeng suddenly felt like a deliveryman was bringing food to a cat, but the house turned out to be infested with tigers, and there really wasn't anything nearby that could be eaten. Turns out, the insect nest was quite easy to destroy, not for any other reason than that the queen insect was the most unambitious shut-in.
Plus, all she did was give birth, so the Zerg warriors were all incredibly resentful. But a group of Zerg soldiers couldn't just ignore this shut-in, so they had to try all sorts of ways to get her food. Waaah, they were more miserable than cattle and horses now. This was simply not the life Zerg should be living, so when they saw the Alliance soldiers, they actually felt a sense of relief, as if they were finally free. This backwater, they might as well just die.
