Chen Xu's college entrance examination went smoothly, and he successfully passed the three crucial days.
Chen Yu didn't linger and returned to the capital; the professor had already urged him several times. Although Chen Yu didn't care about the salary the professor offered, he valued the experience and methods the professor imparted while leading the project. The system had said that after the film world ended, he would return to his original world, and he would likely bring back all the experience and knowledge he had gained.
Of course, working on the project with Professor Li also served the purpose of avoiding Wang Wenwen. Ever since becoming Chen Yu's god-sister, Wang Wenwen had been frequently visiting Chen Yu's home, sometimes even staying overnight in Sun Suying's room. Wang Wenwen's actions put a lot of pressure on Chen Yu, who took the opportunity to slip away.
Twenty-odd days later, Chen Xu's results came out. He had just passed the first-tier university entrance exam cutoff score. Chen's parents were unaware of the college application process, so Chen Yu made the decision to send him to the University of Finance and Economics in Shanghai.

On August 20th, Chen Yu returned to the county town from the capital because he also wanted to go with Chen Xu to see him off. Of course, he could also visit old friends in Shanghai.
He had barely arrived home when he heard more shocking news.
"You're coming to Shanghai too? Wenwen, Shanghai is so far away, will your aunt and uncle agree to that?" Chen Yu felt a bit of a headache.
“They are very reassured. It’s not like I’m going by myself, so what’s there to worry about?” Actually, Wang Wenwen’s parents disagreed, but Wang Wenwen insisted, and the two elderly people couldn’t stop her.
Chen Yu had no other choice but to take them along. He found a seven-seater van and had the driver take the group of five to the airport.
The air in Shanghai was more humid than in Chen Yu's hometown. As soon as they got off the plane, they felt the salty, humid heat.
First, they went to the hotel to settle in and had a casual buffet lunch. Then, they went to the hotel to explore. Wang Wenwen pulled Chen Yu to take pictures, and when they were taking photos together, Wang Wenwen wanted to do some intimate things with Chen Yu, but Chen Yu dodged her. She was sullen all afternoon.
Chen Yu didn't really understand what Wang Wenwen saw in him; her enthusiasm was a bit inexplicable. Wang Wenwen knew that back in her freshman year of college, she had been confessed to because of her looks. Wanting to reject him once and for all, she had said some very hurtful things. The man, humiliated and rejected, became enraged and tried to hit her. This was completely unexpected for Wang Wenwen. Just as she was about to be attacked, Chen Yu happened to be riding by and offered to take her back to her dorm. On the way, he warned her not to get too close to watch the commotion, or she might get accidentally hurt. This amused Wang Wenwen. Knowing Chen Yu had misunderstood, she didn't correct him, but Chen Yu's handsome appearance and passive act of saving her had won her heart.
The group had dinner at a restaurant in Heping, experiencing the vibrant nightlife of Shanghai, before taking a taxi back to the hotel.
The five people rode in two cars, with Chen Yu and Wang Wenwen in the back. Chen Yu didn't sit in the front passenger seat, but instead sat in the back with Wang Wenwen.
Halfway through the journey, Chen Yu suddenly spoke up: "Wenwen, there's something I haven't told you yet, and your family doesn't know either."
After a pause, he continued, "Professor Li is one of my university professors. He is about to retire due to poor health, so he recommended me to Professor Huang at Shanghai University of Technology. I might be staying in Shanghai permanently this time."
Upon hearing the news, Wang Wenwen was somewhat at a loss. She opened her mouth several times, but said nothing, her eyes filled with a complex and unreadable expression.
Chen Yu spoke again, "You can see that I really do treat you like a younger sister. I hope you can find your own happiness."
The taxi arrived at its destination and slowly came to a stop. The two people got out from either side. Chen Xu and the other two had already gone upstairs to their rooms. Only then did Wang Wenwen speak, "Brother Xiaoyu, can you walk with me for a bit?"
"Let's take a walk then."
They just walked and walked for a long time without Wang Wenwen saying a single word.

He turned back to Wang Wenwen and said, "Zhong Xiaoqin is the girl I took out to play with. She's also the one I've fallen for."
"I came to Shanghai for another reason, which is to find her."
"I'd like to see her, is that alright?" Wang Wenwen asked calmly.
"I'll take you to meet him in three days." The time agreed upon with Zhong Xiaoqin was three days later. Chen Yu often chatted with Zhong Xiaoqin online, casually. Zhong Xiaoqin was a people-pleasing person who couldn't say no, and Chen Yu always had to end the chat, otherwise they might chat all night.
The next day, the five of them accompanied Chen Xu to Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, where he would be majoring in Business Administration, since he actually had a company to manage. Although the group was large, the two middle-aged men and three young men didn't stand out much. It was only when they all arrived at Chen Xu's dormitory that they were slightly surprised. Chen Xu's dormitory was a four-person room, and two of the roommates had already checked in. They didn't seem like delinquents; they appeared quite normal, which put everyone's minds at ease.
After settling Chen Xu's affairs, Chen Yu finally revealed his intention to stay in Shanghai. His father, Chen Yunqiu, didn't react much, but his mother reacted strongly, pulling Chen Yu aside and whispering, "If you stay here, what will happen to Wenwen? Let me tell you, Wenwen is the one I've chosen; you can't drive her away!"
"I've already talked to Wenwen, and I've told you before that Wang Wenwen and I are just ordinary classmates! But you just won't listen, what can I do?" Chen Yu shirked all responsibility.
Sun Suying sighed, "You child. You've always been very stubborn. Once you've made up your mind, no one can stop you!"
"But I really like Wenwen. I don't know what got into you! Humph!" With that, she stormed off in anger.
Chen Yu looked at the bustling university campus, the students and parents coming and going, then at Wang Wenwen standing pitifully beside Sun Suying, and sighed again. "I don't know why this is happening. Isn't this forcing me to activate my 'playboy' tendencies?"
